I almost went back to firefox, as I imagine a lot of people did. I was scouring the web for solutions to the fact that Chrome was slow as it could get… Finally somebody mentioned something I didn’t understand about proxy settings, so I went into my System/Network/Proxies in the advanced section, on my Mac… and I unchecked the only thing that was checked, something about using FTP something… and lo and behold, it worked!! So now I can keep using Chrome, which is the coolest browser so far, except firefox has a couple real useful plugins, but i can always go back and use firefox if i ever need to debug a web page for example… I”m a happy camper…

Well, guess I’ll make my annual post now hope everyone had a good Christmas, hubby got an electric guitar and amp, and i got a bed, a sealy posturepedic that’s hard as a rock, it was just delivered today and i hurt my back while setting it up so i won’t know tonight if my back would have felt better in the morning… i imagine i’ll find out sooner or later if the bed is good for my back or not. i researched beds for like 2 months incessantly because i didn’t want to make anymore costly mistakes, and even tho it was educational, and made me choose a hard bed, tho i’m a soft bed person, i don’t think anything but time will tell if i have made another costly mistake or not… but hubby is being very good about it and says that we can get a waveless waterbed later if this one doesn’t work out… plus i do have the 2 month comfort exchange from sleep country, so we could always try a different bed… anyway, it was a good year, but my dog got diabetes, which is very sad as she hates the needles, and we were pretty broke this year, but on the good side of things, i quit smoking six months ago, so no need for a new years resolution because i am now perfect so thanks for listening, i’m off to have a hot turkey sandwich with hubby!

well it seems that there are mixed reviews about my new photoblog setup… some people don’t like having to click on lightbox to see a larger picture, there’s even some people that think it’s too skinny lol or too fancy…. but me i’m kind of partial to the small pictures and skinny design… i think it looks cute! ooh i just got a stabbing pain in ma head, unrelated to the photoblog i’m sure… there was another photoblog theme i was going to try, called autofocus, but it seems it doesn’t work with IE6 and 7 so that’s kinda bad mkay… i’m not saying it should be the world’s most popular browser, but it is, and making a theme that doesn’t work with it, isn’t that clever in my opinion… i had the same problem with the theme ‘elegant grunge’… i would have liked to use it too, but nooooooo… anyway, good golly, i must be the world’s most boring blogger, good thing i don’t come here very often… i’ve totally quit smoking for 7 and a half weeks now, so that’s good news, it’s thanks to God by the way, Who said ‘it’s done’ when i asked for smoking to be taken away from me thank God for God!! another bit of good news is that my hubby was happy and talking about the future in a positive yet realistic way last night, it was so fun to listen to him, he really is the most special man i’ve ever known… i hope the future holds good things for us, i know it does, coz God said so!!

Well I think my photoblog break is over, at least SORT of over… i posted a photo tonight and one for tomorrow, that’s not alot, but it’s something. I have been on sabbatical trying to get my life in order, now i’m not saying i succeeded, but i do feel like having fun again, instead of just trying to heal… there’s something to be said for slowing down and seeking God while He may be found… and i do hope i’m not cutting that time frame too short!

a friend of mine blogged about being friends with the devil… i mean i KNOW non-Christians can be stupid about such things, but let’s not get ridiculous… I know the devil doesn’t really bug non-Christians because he already has them.. but what if my friend is destined to be a Christian right around the corner, we all know that the devil will pounce on him if that’s the case. I can’t believe that something he said off the cuff could scare me so badly. of course Jesus said that the truth will make us free, but has anyone noticed how LONG it takes to learn the truth of God? once when i asked God when He would deliver me, He compared me to Joseph, and that means 13 years before the promise comes in! I ask anyone who is ABOUT to become a Christian, how do you want to spend those 13 years? in hellish torment coz the devil got ahold of ya, or as a regular baby Christian?
