blogging is bad mkay?

I think I need to take a bit of a break from blogging. I was listening to a sermon about how stuff in your life can get too big and actually smother the word, and hurt your faith.. And I was thinking that with my so many blogs and the way I pour my heart out that it’s taken a wrong place in my life. So I think I’ll stop it for a while. Butterflies, don’t worry, I’ll still visit your page and stuff, there’s nothing wrong with coming to see you, hehe..

Well sleepless has sorta talked me down from that ledge, and perhaps I can keep blogging in a more healthy perspective from now on. Be a bit more positive, and not quite so prolific… Tho I’m kinda nervous about it now. Coz blogging DID snowball into a bad thing. Anyway, I’ll blog I guess, ifin’ I can keep it God-honored.

  1. I think faith is hooking up with the power of God. It’s a supernatural thing. you believe and God meets your seed of faith with His power. and yes, believing can be tricky at times…

  2. Faith is a hard one for some people. Having the faith of a child is easy for me because I have had faith & believed in God for as long as I can remember. But I know the concept is difficult for alot of people. I don’t know how to explain it, I just know it is what it is. I trust that everything that happens is a part of the great plan even if I don’t understand it or like it. I just accept it. I guess that is faith. I know if I turn to God for help it will be there. Unfortunately, the help I get is not always what I wanted, but it is what God wanted so I accept it & go with it. That is faith.
Keep searching. The answers will be given to you. Just open your heart & listen for God’s voice.

  4. I think it is fine for a Christian (I’m one) to do Yoga. Yoga is simply a form of exercise, stretching is great for our bodies & God expects us to take care of ourselves.
I meditate, chant, pray, etc. I find all of this enhances my walk with God.
Just chill out some, & don’t worry so much. You are doing fine.

  5. I was doing yoga, haven’t done it in a few weeks tho. Part of me still wonders if it’s not BAD for a Christian to do

  6. Namaste` is Sanskrit–it means “the divine in me honors the divine in you”. Usually said with hands together pointing up & bowing as it is said. I learned it in yoga class.

  7. Well then I will HAVE to keep blogging won’t I? lol if I have a new blogging friend.. what does namaste mean?

I will just have to see if I can keep it healthy. And that I haven’t formed a sort of fear of it in my mind in the last few days. See if I can rework it all..

  8. Hey, no problem!! Thanks for visiting me also. Keep stopping by…& I will too.
Hang in there. YOu are doing fine. Expressing your feelings is not negative (took me a long time to get that one right), it is healthy. Don’t worry when you have to get something off your chest. THis is a great outlet. Share the good things, too.
    I’m always here.

  9. Hey thank you! I just had thought that my outlet had turned into some sick thing, where I was being kinda negative and worldly and turning to that instead of God.. I suppose I could consider keeping blogging and just be more healthy about it.. thank you..
I don’t worry so much about how much money televangelists want to make as the general defeatist attitude they all seem to have, THAT bugs me..
thanks for caring, and thanks for stopping by..

  10. Oh, bull crap!! Keep blogging!! We all need an outlet…God understands that. It does not take away from your relationship with Him, that is obvious from your previous blogs. Just keep Him first in your life. Say “Thank You” everyday. God loves you & I can tell you love Him.
Don’t take to heart too much what tele-evangilists say. I, personally, think they are all out just to make a buck (so much for putting God first). Discreation in all you read & see. Pray about it & let God lead you on the subject.
